Rubella Jewelry

about

Adornments for all that ails you.

RUBELLA is a virus discovered by German doctors in the eighteenth century. Founded in 2010 in Jersey City, New Jersey, it is also the alias of Rita Maria Salpietro and Samantha Stillwagon, two artists who create romantic, mysterious, and curious one of a kind pieces of jewelry
made with Civil War era tintype photographs, chandelier crystals, old keys, antique hardware, bones, pocket knives, objects of faith and devotion, and other lovely relics-all which conjure up and cherish the past.

Now based in New York's Hudson Valley, Rubella Jewelry is dedicated to original, victorian-inspired jewelry designs for true romantics using enviromentally friendly recycled metals.
